The hardest part of pricing a dating app is being honest about what should never cost extra.
Because hiding it makes Bloom worse at its job. Every other dating app gates it behind Premium, which means people miss real matches because they did not pay enough.
On Bloom, if someone liked you, you should know. That is not a power-user feature. That is the product.
Filters help you find people you are actually compatible with. Charging for the ability to say "I only want to date non-smokers" is, frankly, a tax on knowing what you want.
You get every filter on the free plan. Premium adds AI on top, not access to basic search.
It is not a loophole. It is the design. Bloom makes money when relationships succeed, so we should not be charging a "couples tax" the moment two of you decide to stay together.
When you both switch into Relationship Mode and link accounts, your single Premium subscription unlocks AI Journeys, calendar tools, and ad-free for the pair of you. Same price as solo Premium.

That changes what we charge for, and how much. We do not need to extract $30 a month to keep the lights on, and we will not.
Great. The free plan is built to actually work, not to push you to upgrade. 5 likes a day is plenty if you are reading profiles. Most people who match on Bloom never pay us a cent. That is the goal.
